Welcome to the Brofessional Golf Alliance (BGA)! Before you tee off into our community, please take a moment to read through our Terms and Conditions. By signing in, you agree to abide by these rules and regulations. And remember, we're all here for a good time, so let's keep it light and fun!
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using our website, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you don't agree, you might want to reconsider your life choices (or just not use our site).
2. Membership Eligibility
To join the BGA, you must be a golf enthusiast who enjoys good company and a laugh. If you take golf too seriously, you might want to join another club. We recommend "Serious Golfers Anonymous." Additionally, you need a sponsor – someone who can vouch for your sense of humor and love for the game.
3. User Conduct
- Don't be a jerk: Treat others with respect and kindness. If you can't do that, you might be better off playing solitaire.
- No cheating: Cheating is strictly prohibited. If caught, you'll be called Roland and will have to buy the first round at the 19th hole.
- Have fun: Remember, golf is a game, and games are meant to be enjoyed. If you're not having fun, you're doing it wrong.
4. Privacy Policy
We value your privacy and promise not to sell your data to the highest bidder. Your information is safe with us, just like your secret golf tips.
5. Limitation of Liability
The BGA is not responsible for any lost balls, broken clubs, or bruised egos. Play at your own risk, and remember, it's just a game!
6. Mulligans
You get a Mulligan every 9 holes. Use it wisely, and don't waste it on a par 3. If you mess up your last Mulligan, you get a provisional one – because everyone deserves a second chance.
7. Hole-in-One
If you score a hole-in-one, congratulations! You also get the honor of buying everyone a round. It's a small price to pay for greatness.
8. Late Arrival
If you're late to a round, you owe everyone halfway drinks. Punctuality is key, but if you can't manage it, at least be generous.
9. Names Starting with "C"
If your name starts with "C," you are obligated to play from the backmost tee. We don't make the rules (okay, we do) ! Because we believe in making things interesting.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes will be settled over a friendly game of golf. Loser buys drinks – it's the BGA way.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. If we do, we'll let you know. If you don't like the changes, you can always take a Mulligan.
12. Dress Code
Golf attire is encouraged, but creativity is welcomed.
13. Nicknames
Everyone gets a nickname based on their golfing style or personality. If you don't have one, don't worry – we'll come up with something fitting (and probably hilarious).
14. Celebration Rules
- Birdie Dance: If you score a birdie, you must perform a celebratory dance. Extra points for creativity and enthusiasm.
- Eagle Shout: If you score an eagle, you must shout "Eagle!" loud enough for the whole course to hear. It's tradition.
15. Golf Cart Etiquette
Golf carts are for transportation and fun. No reckless driving or racing – unless it's agreed upon by all parties involved. Safety first, but fun is a close second.
16. Weather Policy
Rain or shine, we play. If it's raining, bring your best waterproof gear and a positive attitude. If it's snowing, well, maybe we'll reconsider. Jurgens has free choice – he can decide whether to brave the elements or call it a day.
17. Social Media
Feel free to share your BGA experiences on social media. Just remember to tag us and use the hashtag #BrofessionalGolf. We love seeing your photos and videos!
18. Lost and Found
If you find a lost ball, it's yours to keep. If you lose a ball, consider it a donation to the course. Lost clubs, however, should be returned to their rightful owner – we're not savages.
19. Special Rule for Juan Van Niekerk
If your name is Juan Van Niekerk, you are obligated to play in all pink attire and tee off with a putter.
